SUMMARY:Near Reach Workshop
DESCRIPTION:\nOn April 29th and 30th, we will have our “Near Reach” weekend.  This weekend is dedicated to local outreach, and is meant to complement our “Far Reach” weekend  with its global missions emphasis in the fall.\nThe weekend will have three elements:  A workshop on Saturday morning, a dedicated worship service Sunday morning, and a time of prayer Sunday evening.\nThe workshop will be from 10:00 to 12:00 on Saturday, with free lunch (pizza party and playground time) to follow. Your lunch RSVP will be noted when you register for the workshop.\nFrom 10:00 to 11:00, we will study the biblical basis for the necessity and joy of local outreach.  From 11:00 to 12:00, we will consider some practical ways that we can engage our community with the Good News.\nOur children’s ministry will also be doing a near-reach program for the children at the same time, ages nursery through 5th grade.\nCost is free, but please register soon so we know how much food to order.\n \nRegister Now\n
