Joe Bartemus
PASTOR OF THEOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT & SHEPHERDING; ELDER (GREENWOOD)
Joe grew up in Maryland and taught high school history in Long Island, NY. He sensed a call to pastoral ministry and earned and MDiv at Grace Seminary. Joe pastored a church in Maryland until moving to Indiana where he worked in business. He was involved in College Park Church as a lay leader and came on staff there in 1999. He then earned a Doctorate of Ministry from Southern Seminary in 2015. In 2018, he became the Launch Pastor for Crosspointe Community Church (then called College Park Church Greenwood) and has been serving on staff ever since.
Joe loves theology and the study of the Scriptures. He enjoys learning from others and sharing in the development of the lives of God’s people in knowing God more fully and serving God with great passion. Joe’s wife, Cathy, is a long-time music teacher, and they have three children and eight grandchildren.
